Our pre-engineered floor systems uses highest-quality POSI–STRUT^®, VERSA-LAM® laminated veneer lumber, and other engineered wood products with matched depths that work together using fewer pieces and longer lengths. The result is longer spans, time saved during cutting and fitting, less waste, and lower overall cost since less product is needed. Our systems consists of several products including the following:

POSI–STRUT^®

The Posi-Strut open web floor system offers the ultimate in design flexibility! With longer clear spans than conventional lumber, architects and engineers can now enjoy clear span flexibility and building design freedom. Its open web design eliminates the need for cutting and drilling; so plumbing, electrical and ventilation services are installed quickly, saving time and money.

Posi-Strut trusses also permit the installation of strongback bridging which reduces vibration.

The Posi-Strut open web floor system is lightweight so it’s easy to handle and
install. Plus, its wide nailing surface speeds up installation of floor sheathing. The top chord bearing detail allows support beams to be hidden without the extra cost of installing joist hangers.

The Intertek/Warnock-Hersey Listed onehour, single-layer drywall fire-rating
simplifies compliance with building codes.

Versa-Lam® Beams & Headers

VERSA-LAM® laminated veneer beams and headers eliminate twisting, shrinking and splitting, and deliver flatter, quieter floors. Sized to match our BCI® Joists and other elements of the SIMPLE FRAMING SYSTEM®, VERSA-LAM® offers quick assembly and is precision cut into more than 18 standard sizes. Because they have no camber and strength is consistent throughout, VERSA-LAM® LVL products have no top or bottom side which provides flatter, quieter floors and roofs. With better properties VERSA-LAM® beams support heavier loads than comparable glulam or dimension lumber products. These beams are manufactured in multiple widths and depths to match BCI® joist.
